Portland, Dec. 20. -There was a rather liberal run of cattle in the North Portland yards over Sunday, but the trend of the trade continued quite favorable as compared with last week. . Buying of cattle continues on a liberal scale. Good stuff es pecially is being sought at full prices. While total offering of hogs at North Portland at the week's opening were fractionally less than a week ago, still there was a big showing of supplies in the yards. Prices were bulzeU up anotner nickel during the morning trade with tops commanding $6.10 with ease. A number of sales were made at tne higher figures, thereby firmly estab lishing the new quotatjpn.
