Marie Becker and Nell Bradley were guests with friends in Imbler over Sunday. Fred Kiddle, of Island Cityt is home from the University of Oregon for the Easter holidays. . Homer Leffel, a freshman at Oregon, is iri the city to visit his parents dur ing the Easter holidays. : S. M. Jackson, connected with the East Oregon Lumber company, at En terprise, was in the city last evening on his way to Wichita, Kansas. Col. and Mrs. P. S. Ivnnhoe of La Grande, visited over Sunday as guests of Mrs. Laura D. Nash. Pendletom E. 0. H. J. Hockenberry, for many years at the head of La Grande schools, has been in Eastern' Oregon points, in cluding La- Grande,, on business mat ters for several days. Limited space prevented giving each member of the cast special mention, but La Grande people are proud of their amateurs and the Elks are to be congratulated on having so much talent in their local lodge. Each and every member wishes to tnke this opportunity of thanking the members of the cast, Mr. Sherwood and his orchestra, the band boys, who so kindly left their work and went out on parade in the afternoon, also every one who in any way helped to make the show a success.
