HOW TRADES ARE MADE A great many people that own real estate would rather have some other property. Farmers dig a for tune from .the soil, then move to the city. The business man retires from a successful commercial life to live in the country. Exchanges of real estate usually result in a material gain to both parties, not only on ac count of better satisfaction, but also due to the use made of the land. Furthermore adavanta-eous trade can often be made, when a cash buyer could not be easily located. b LA GRANDE. "The Metropolis of Eastern Oregon."
