Various Matters Come Up at Mid Week Session Last Evening. At last night's meeting of the com missioners and the manager some of the old tilings that have been hang ing fire for a number of months, some almost a year, were disposed of. One of the chief items was the- bill of the Warren Construction company for their work on the Second street sub way. The attorney for the company, Mr. Huntington, has been in the city for a number of days conferring with the city manager relative to the bill. The old council approved-the, bill, amounting to $664.40, and ordered it paid. ' However, the chairman of the finance; committee, Mr. Haisten, at the time .wrote his disapproval on the margin of it. This proved somewhat, of a bugbear to the bill which 'was passed over to the com missioners for settlement. Some dis agreement 4nrose concerning the 25 cents to other.
