Ev en dairy cattle population, supposed J to be Increasing, shows a decrease. ". Hog supulles are over 4,000,000 head ' less than a yeaf ago, and sheep sup plies are also a million head less. ' The hope Is expressed that plentiful and cheap feed supplies now on hand , will result In a tendency to Increase breeding and feeding operations.
