Luclen Remlllard,' who wai buried
on last Wednesday was bora in Mon
treal. Canada, in the year 1850. In
another month he would have been
63 yeara old. In 1865 he married Eva
Jonea of Cove. Oregon. To them
were born three daugktera, iMra. EJ
wln Thomas, of t Grande; Mrs. Lulu
Leonard of Lewiston, Idaho; and Mrs.
Elva Stringer of La Grande. There
are four grandchildren.
During the obsequies last week,
the following, anion other things

na himself; that no worthy man ever
