The price has dropped to 75 cents per crate and as the quality Is fine, dealers will probably break even. It has been i rule during the season that local deal ers either lost money outright or broke even at the best on all shipments of early tomatoes, as the keeping quail ties seemed to be lss perfect than us ual. t Varioug grades and sizes of peaches are bringing from 80 to 90 cents per crate today on the La Grande markets, and for the most part, the offerings were of a good quality.
