treasurer of the Ironworkers' associa
tion, to dynamitii bridges and buildings
in course of construction by non-union
contractors, was the basis of the
Government's 'Inquiry. McManigal has
been brought here and Is to be the prlii
clple witness for the Government In
this trial. - A mass of letters and. other
records, seized In a- raid on the offices
of the Ironworkers' association, also
will be offered as evidence of a general
conspiracy secretly to convey dynamite
and nitroglycerine from coast to coast
