The Bankers scored their lone tally on a long home run by Squires but there was only two fielders for either side and the game was a makeshitt propo sition from start to finish. Geddes and Stout were the opposing pitchers and both had the variety of stuff that puzzle batters. The Clerks scored In the first of the second after Friucls hit for two bases and Geddes allowei1 Garrick to go on a bruised rib, Puig nan and Bolton had walked. Two had previously been retired and the score was allowed to stand on the grounds that the score had been made prior to the time the ball was deadened by the contact with the base runner and the retirement of the hit base runner.
