Peter Hogenson of Perry, Oregon, a railroad contractor, arrived In the city last night with 15 men and left today for Whitney where he will start to build a mile and a half of road for the Stoddard Brothers' Lumber com pany. The road will connect their saw mill with the timber and will be used mainly for hauling logs. Mr. Hogen- I ! son expects to put about 25 men on i the construction work but cannot as j yet estimate the time It will take. The work, will be puBhed as fast as pos ' slble, however.
