Oldfleld drove bis Knox racer lo the utmost, but the handicap was too strong and he could not get the lead away from King. Not only in the handicap events did King and his Max well prove stars of the first order, but In one of the first events of the day, the Ate mile race for tars conting from 11200 to IICOO, which was one of the beiitmatches of the meet.
