BOHNENKAMP CO On Monday evening the tryout for positions on the La Grande high school debating team for this yeaf will be held at the high school. The seak ers will line up on either side of the question and show their skill before the judges who will pick the six best to compose the two teams. In connection with thp work in de bating some early work is being done by the orators at the high school with the view of giving an entertainment in the Steward opera house later in the season'. This entertainment will be partially for the benefit of the students participating and also to let the peo ple know what work the students are doing along these lines. Superintend ent J. D.
