Mariners here are convinced that 31 sailors and passengers that are in the life boats which put off from the wreck yester day, of the steamer Hestla, and which, have been unsighted since, have been lost. It is now thought that the boats have been swamped in the high sea that has been running all day yester day and during the' night last night and this morning. This brings the to tal dead up to 35.
