A delegation of stu dents paraded the streets and gave vent to their pent-up enthusiasm In a fitting manner. The team arrived from Spokane at 9 o'clock under the tutorship of Qoach Kennedy, whose brother has won fame in the Univer sity of Chicago. Today Coach Kennedy had little to say regarding the prospects of his team, but did say that he and hi men had come to win if possible. The utter absence In the minds of the Spo kane players of the strength of the La Grande team, has kept them on the anxious seat. They are well known to La Grande, however, as many of the team have met with local track ath letes on the cinder paths and on the field of contests. RIter, the track and field man, well known locally, is not with the team. Ills position is fullback. Stop! Look! Listen! Mr. Dresser! Learn the Cause of Daily Woes and End Them.
