No sub- SKS scrlber wants to dry out their paper, neither do we want them to. If the paper is delivered properly It Is not necessary. , Plans were consumated . yesterday whereby the title of the Alice Ladd property on Fourth street will pass to the Methodist church, upon .which a new church will be built of either brick, stone or cement blocks; a struc ture in keeping .with the growth of this city based upon a liberal growth in the future. The plans of the build ing have not been decided upon. The first thing was the site and this has been secured. The trustees who made the deal securing this fine property, consider themselves more than for? tunate. There is not a more desirable site In the city when viewed from from many standpoints. A large, im posing structure on this property will be noticed by every passenger alight tag from the trains at' the depot. A line from the center of Depot street followed to its first obstruction will be the Methodist church when com pleted. It will also stand in the cen ter of Spring Avenue. This site will grow In favor with the general public as its many advan tages becomes recognized. The prop erty has a frontage on Fourth street of 104 feet and. a depth of about 170. The consideration was J 4, 750. Up on the property is a well, constructed two story dwelling for which the trus tees have already had a ntundlug offer of $1,000. In due time the pres ent church property will be disposed of, which Is one of the most sightly dwelling locations in the city. -,'' O.E.S. Hop Chapter No. 13, O. IS.
