for two years pastor of the Baptist
churches of Enterprise and Alder, ai,d
who has been ill for some weeks, ar
rived in La Grande last evening:,
spending the night with Pastor Gib
son. He left today for Astoria, where
he will visit his brother. Rev. Con
rad L. Owen, and receive iredical
treatment
The Grande Ronde Baptist Asso
ciation will meet June 10-13 at Alder,
and Rev.- Owen will be greatly missed
in the deliberations of that body. '
