Not only have the transactions been heavy, but the prices paid lu- dlcate-a healthy tone of financial con ditions. Four pieces of land, in 32 acres, have sold for $26,500, or an average price of over $80 per acre. One farm of 160 acres, that of Wrigh bros., of Union, sold for more than, $100 per acre. Another tract of 80 acres, belong ing to the same men, brought $50 per acre. Several other farms have been sold in the valley during the week for prices that Indicate that the owners have not sold at a loss. The total reported transactions represent ap proximately $68,000.
