STUMP FOR CAKE. 4$44444444444444444444444 YOUR WORK Is whatwe want We don't call on you one week for it and tell you the next we cannot do it for you. We want it now, and all the time. We do not think it necessary at this time to say anything about the class of work we turn out The fact that we have been in the LAUN DRY business for twelve years in La Grande we think 'sufficient evi-: dence that our work is sat isfactory. Try it . A. B. C LAUNDRY TELEPHONE MAIN Pendleton Orator Will Spend Three Weeks on the Stump for Cake. ' Judge Stephen A. Lowell of Pendle ton, one of the best platform orators on the Pacific coast, has engaged with the republican state central commit tee to make a three weeks' tour of the state on a speech-making tour of the state for the republican ticket, from H. M. Cake, the republican sen atorial candidate, down to the end of the ticket Judge Lowell will leave Pendleton about May 15 for Wheeler, Sherman and other Interior counties, where he will open his campaign and from there will perhaps go to southern Oregon, and during the next three weeks fol lowing will cover practically all of the state for the party candidates. That a united and vigorous cam paign will be made by the republican party fop all of the candidates is now shown by the number of speakers who are engaged for the field work. Aside from Judge Lowell other promi nent orators from the state will take the stump, and It is quite probable that several prominent members of congress from the east will be brought to the state for a few addresses before the close of the campaign. malt or vinous llctuors, or fermented cider, commonly known as hard cider, In quantities less than one gallon, In the town of Kamela, Union county, Oregon, commencing on or about the 6th day of June, 1908.
