Mrs. Edith Foye, arrived today to visit County Superintendent and Mrs. E. E. Bragg. Her home Is In Sioux City, Iowa. She was formerly Miss Edith Heritage and taught school at Union. Late yesterday afternoon judge Crawford received a message from Jndge Smith In Baker City, Informing him that the case he was expected to preside over had been Bettled out ot court and Judce Crawford did not have to go as he had expected. C. H. Ball, who has teen at the Grande Ronde hospital the past seV' era! weeks, has so far recovered from his operation to be able to be re. moved from the hospital this after noon.
