The representatives of the Grande Rondo Lumber company and the f'rossett Timber company, have re fused to pay the special road tax levies In districts II and 18. In dis trict 14, a special road tax of 10 mills ind In district 18 of 8 mills was lev ied. The tax made about $1000 dif ference in the taxes of the Crossett company, and about $150 In the Grande Ronde company's taxes. This they refused to pay.
