IN I'ilLLLIX 111 SPOKANE Hurry Miller, of Miller & Draper, who are arranging the local Elks" minstrels, has gone to Spokane, where he will stage a large minstrel per formance on Thursday of this week. Mr. Miller has had three Irons in tin fire while working in La Grande, but none have been neglected. As soon as ha "pulls off the Spokane min strel show he will be back In Ln Grande, dividing his time between here and Paker City until both have been successfully staged. Mr. Miller has been In the minstrel business fur something like seven years, and the local talent assisting In the Elks' minstrels to be presented here In the near future, is receiving real benefit In working under the capable direction of the. minstrel loader.
