Joda Hamilton, the youth who was convicted of killing the Parsons family on October 1 2. was hanged today. The largest crowd that has ever assembled in this city attended the execution." '.-"'. Tm murderer had quarreled with Car nie Parson over an old saddle. Tie die pute grew heated. and Hamilton ehot Parsons, then killed Mrs. Parsons with an axe. Three sons with ages of five, three and cne years, crawled into some bushes during the frightful moments but the frenzied man dragged them out one by one and cut their throats. He then piled all the bodies ifltai trie wagon in which Parsons family was malting a pilgrimage to the old home in Illinois, drove to a creek ana dumped them in. Young Ham ilton, later, was at the church with his fiancee when he heard that the bodies had been found in the milldam.
