McCully of Joseph passed thru the city Saturday night enroute to Port land. Mr. McCully has been one of Wallowa county's most active citizens for a number of years and states that the county was never as prosperous as at the present time. In speaking of the change with reference to the county going dry he stated that it would never go wet again, hat many who voted against it were so we I pleased with the results that they would advocate a dry county in the future. Mr. McCully is of the opinion that the next wool crop will go out of the county on the cars. OUR 'PHONE MAIN 8 -1 Your "phone places our store right at your elbow, ready to serve you at any time.
