No one could help but receive an inspiration of the magnitude and responsibility of the work the Sunday school is capable of doing. The effect on the schools of this county at a result of this convention wil certainly be noticeable. CURREY BROS., ED'S AND PROP This paper will not publish any article appearing over a nom-de-plume. Straw days are common at this time of the year in Washington. Whole neigh borhoods turn out and spread straw on the county roads to lay the dust. This policy has been followed for years in some localities to the great advantage of the public generally. Compared to that section, the Grande Ronde Valley has no conception of what a really dusty road means. nnonG the cruras FIRST CHURCH CF CHRISTIAN HCIENCK Buninl Building oppoalte Kule.v Hotel HundHy Servirea ... n a m Services Wedneaday l:Hp m Readier room at asm' place open 1 ueadaya and Tbiradaya from 10 to 11:110 a m aud Friday and Bui ui days from 2 to 4 p ir.
