It has created, considerable interest in the- project. It is reported on good authority that the board of trustees of the Carnegie Found ation intends to send the plans to the United States and exhibit them either in Washington D. C. or in New York. L L. Good win has been recommended by Mr. Crow well to do this spraying. The slugs like the San Jose scale teem to effect the fruit t ees in the city having not yet invaded the country orchards. While the slugs are not as dang erous as the scale they have the capacity to ruin the cherry and pear crop for this and next season.
