The little one's life will perhaps be saved, but the doctors say that little Miss Hogan awakened several months to soon. It only weighs three quarters of a pound but is perfectly nor mal and will likely thrive as it appears satisfied with the little glass oven in which it is kept at the apartments. It is estimated that at Im 5,000,000 will be needed for sit, build ing and endorsment. The movement is distinct from the plan of the ways and mens committee of the Fine Arts Fed eration, of which John W. Alexander is chairman, to raiss at least $3,000,000 for a United Fin Arts Buildinir. It U expected that Andrew Carnegie, J. Pier- pont morgan and several other art patrons in this city would contribute toward tha endowment of the proposed school. Most of the artists in this coun try are in favor of the plan and it is be lieved that the proposition will general support among the art-loving people of the United States.
