C. Field, U. S. N. ro'Jred; Commander Walter F. Worthing ton, who is in charge of the engineering experimental station at the Naval Acad emy, and Civil Engineer A. C. Cunning ham, who is attached to the bureau of yards and docks in the Navy Department and who is recorder ss well as member of the board.- This board has investigat ed the various claims of contractors, and has savsd much expense for the govern ment and the contractors in settling dis- Dutea involving extension of time, chances ordered by the department and damages generally.
