The autocar was built at vmana tor uie Portland inter-urban ser vice and is being taken there by T. M. Bierd, an expert in motor mr.hin. Th trip wa very successful up to Hunting ton where the six cylinder engine was broken and the cars had to be trailed in to La Grande. Coming over ' the ' plain the motive power carried the large car and a trailer at the rate of fifty mile an hour. The trailer is a mail and express car combination while the car containing the engine is built on the passenger coach pian ana win accomodate fifty people.
