James Wilson, a logger working for the Case Lumber Co., at Rainier, met instant death Wednesday as a result of an accident Wilson, in company with other men, was trying to balance a log for loading on tho car when it became unmanageable, one end going to the grouud and the other rising twenty feet in the air. A man named Post had hold of the log with Wilson, but when it start ed up, Post let go Jhis hold, but Wilson did not. When the log struck the ground Wilson's hold was broken and he fell heavily on the ground, striking his shoulder in such a manner as to break his neck.
