Th Milton Eatlo. in iu last issue, calls the atten tion of the city council of that little burg to the fact tbat the 'nails are pro truding from the sidewalk, and that they should be driven down a they re injurious to th foet of th town "cows." This is a sad state of affair, and on that ahould be looked into at once; the feet of the cow ahould be t retooled end plank walk ahould be ept in good repair for tbem to walk on. Tit average cow need a good, smooth walk to thoroughly enjoy her daily preamble, and not only should th aidewalka of Milton be placed in repair for her, but a committee should be appointed by the town council to nick the etones out of the road so that her dainty feet wonld not be bruised if tbey ahould descend from their lofty Might and deign to walk on mother earth.
