Arrangements of roses and petun ias decorated the rooms. The gift table was decorated with an um brella. Mrs. Croy opened her many love ly gifts, then refreshments were served by the hostesses. Church Women Enjoy Luncheon Azalea Community Church wom en attended a Town and Country Women's Club luncheon recently at the home of Mrs. Dick Darrow. Games were played, and sever al received prizes. Rebecca Dulke played a flute number, and Mrs. Ion Hoover, gave the (levotionul message. As a special feature. Mrs. Arnold Dulke snowed colored slides taken on trips the Dalke family made to the Yellowstone, Glacier, and Yd- Semite parks and the Grand Can yon. The hostess served refresh incuts at the close of the afternoon. r I Dnariene Becomes Now making their home in St. Louis, Mo., are Mr. and Mrs. Jer ry Barrett, who were married in Roseburg at the First Baptist Church June 23. More than 200 guests were present for the cere mony. The bride is the former Sharlene West, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack West of Roseburg. The bride groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Edward J. Barrett of St. Louis. Officiating at the ceremony were Dr. Barrett and Dr. Eugene Ger litz. Orchids from Hawaii dominat ed the church decorations. The bride and bridegroom met in Ha waii and the island flowers were used as a sentimental gesture. Helen Hanford was prganist. So loists were Ruth Edwards, who sang "The Pledge," "The Lord's Prayer" and "How Do 1 Love i Thee?". The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore white organza with detailing of elaborate embroid ery. Her flowers were three large white orchids surrounded by small er Vanda orchids. Carrying orchid leis were the bride's attendants. The matron of honor, Mrs. Wayne Case of Port land, wore orchid crystalette. Blue crystalette was worn by the brides maids: Mrs. Ross Webb of Port land, Virginia Ward of California and Mrs. Fred Jacobs of Seattle, Wash. Flower girls were Pixie and Dix ie Bonebrake, twin sisters. The girls carried white carnation leis which were exchanged by the bride and bridegroom at the service. Acting as best man was Stan Barrett of St. Louis, the bride groom's brother. Ushers were Bill Farmer of St. Louis, Bob Edwards of San Mateo, Calif., Fred Jacobs of Seattle and Wayne Case of Port land. Candlclightcrs were Vicki West and Preston Barrett. Mrs. T. L. Goodwin and Mrs. John William Robertson helped with the church decorations. Mothers of the bride and bride groom both wore blue lace with orchid corsages. Grandmothers of the couple also wore orchids. Orchids were used in decorations at the reception held at the home West Bride of the bride's parents following the ceremony. The bride's table had been done by Ruth Moss of Colo rado, aunt of the bride. Ralph Beat tie played organ music during the reception. Serving at the reception were Mrs. Harold Moss and Mrs. Ted Casby, aunts of the bride; Mrs. Raymond Schaefer of Portland and Mrs. George Hughes. Daphne Howies of California had charge of the gifts, and Lorella West at tended the guest book. The couple left on a short honey moon, the bride wearing a tur quoise ensemble. The young people have left for St. Louis where they will make their home. Hughes and daughter, Kela, entertained at a buffet ham dinner Thursday eve ning for the former's uncle, C. T. Shoemaker of Sedalia, Mo., who has been visiting for the past three weeks at the Hughes home.
