K -t.,. :.-..,r.. - 1 -a I BACK FROM ENGLAND Mrs. Ray Carrico has returned to her home in Roseburg, following a six and a half weeks trip to Margate, Kent, England, to visit her son-in-law and daughter, Lt. ond Mrs. Robert Platenberg, and their 8'i months-old son, Craig. This was Mrs. Carrico's first time to see her grandson since he was born. She also enjoyed sight-seeing trips to Belgium, Germany, Switzer land, France and Italy. and reports a most enjoyable vaca tion. She made the trip by BOAC. Bridal Shower Saturday Compliments Sharon Long The Garden Valley community gave a bridal shower Saturday evening for Sharon Long at the Garden Valley Women's Club house.
