Medford came back with one run on a walk, a fielder's choice that advanced the runner and a single by Reinking. Baese-Loaded Single In the Medford fourth, Eckle singled, MeClaughlin sacrificed, Francis walked and Monior sin gled down the right field line to score Eckle. Sides then walked to load the bases. A squeeze play scoring attempt was then nipped at the plate to still leave the bases loaded. Perk ins then delivered a two-run sin gle. This ended Medford scoring for tho night. Down 4-1, the Lockwoods came back with two runs in the fifth. Lindbloom walked and was forc ed at second by McClcllan. Smith drew a pass and Policy's flyout to deep right field advanced both runners. Hargis singled both run ners across. Droscher Scores Tie Run The game-tying run in the sixth followed. Jerry Droscher hit safe ly, moved to second on an infield out, to third on a passed ball and registered on Lindbloom's bloop single to left field. liargis led Roseburg hitting with 36 including two triple and a single. The State Game Commis sion s weekly bulletin inursaay re ported, and here and there waters were said to be good but not many fish biting. Southwest Winchester bay salmon angling fair. Tenmile Lake trout angling slow, perch excellent. Loon Lake producing good evening catches of trout and bass on flies, lop fishing good in nearly all sections of Rogue River above Robertson Bridge. Good catches are being reported between Gold Hill and town of Rogue River, with best catches in the vicinity of the mouth of Foots Creek. Flics in the evening are producing best catches but small spinners during the day. Fish Lako in Jackson County continues to pro duce well. Trout fishing is slow on the North and South Umpqua riv ers, hummer steclhead angling in the North Umpqua is fair. The North Umpqua River is somewhat turbid but seems to be clearing. The waters of the South Umpqua are muddy because of construction work. A number of shad are In the main Umpqua from the forks to the town of Umpqua, and some are being taken on red headed flies. Eugene's Frank Chase held Tri City to seven hits but the Braves used them effectively. Danny Hold en homered in the second for Tri City's first tally. The teams finished three In nings of play with Roseburg in a 5-4 lead. But a five-run blast in the seventh frame widened the final margin for the winners.
