Roll call found all officers, 44 members, 15 past noble grands and one visitor, Mrs. Mary Urquhart, of Chehalis, Wash., Dresent. L. E. Osborn was elected to membership to sutherlin Rebekah Lodge by dismissal card. Two applications for membership were read and committees appointed. Mrs. Maude Culver was elected as a trustee for the ensuing three vpars. Mrs. Marv Barker was re' elected degree captain for the year of 1954. REBEKAH LODGE AUDITS BOOKS The auditing committee of the Sutherlin Rebekah Lodge No. 218, met Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Ruth Manning to audit the boons of the secretary, finan cial secretary and treasurer for the year of 1953. Alter the books were finished. a social hour was enjoyed and Mrs. Manning served tasty re freshments to Mrs. Betty Plueard, chairman; Mrs. Doris Steinbach, Mrs. Mary Barker. CHRISTMAS PARTY HELD BY JOLLY CIRCLE CLUB TENMILB LADIES CLUB HAS ALL-DAY MEETING The Tenmile Ladies Club met at the clubhouse Wednesday for an all-day session. Vera Erbe, president, opened the meeting, Hazel Chamblen reported six teen thank-you cards from serv ice men to whom the club had sent Christmas packages. The following officers were elect ed for the coming year: Hazel Chamblen, president; Minnie Lockwood, vice president, and Kate Mack, secretary-treasurer. Helen Young was appointed polio chairman with Wanda Adams and Vera Erbe as her assistants. Mrs. Bessie Smith donated a quilt which will be finished by Minnie Melius and Blanche Deg- ner and sold and the proceeds will be turned over to the polio fund. Minnie Melius and Blanche Degner are making a quilt and Minnie Lockwood is making ml lows to be sent to Camp Easter seal. Thank-you cards were received from Leila Raines, Adda Oluvant, Anna Ireland and Fred Rathkcy. Blanche Degner gave a reading, The next meeting will be at the clubhouse Wednesday Jan. 20 with Nellie Henry and Vera Erbe as Hostesses. WOOD ENTERTAINS PAST NOBLE GRANDS Members of Sutherlin Past No ble Grand's Club were entertained at a seven-thirty o'clock dessert supper by Mrs. Grace Wood at her home on East Everett Street Tuesday evening. Bouquet of winter flowers formed a pretty motif for the affair. Seated at the tables were: Mes- dames Cora Allen, Alma Ander son.
