The Tenmile Ladies Club met
at the clubhouse Wednesday for
an all-day session. Vera Erbe,

teen thank-you cards from serv
ice men to whom the club had
sent Christmas packages.
The following officers were elect
ed for the coming year: Hazel
Chamblen, president; Minnie
Lockwood, vice president, and
Kate Mack, secretary-treasurer.
Helen Young was appointed polio
chairman with Wanda Adams and
Vera Erbe as her assistants.
Mrs. Bessie Smith donated a
quilt which will be finished by
Minnie Melius and Blanche Deg-
ner and sold and the proceeds
will be turned over to the polio
fund. Minnie Melius and Blanche
Degner are making a quilt and
Minnie Lockwood is making ml
lows to be sent to Camp Easter
