Games were played with prizes going to all the guests. Tho, gifts were opened by the guest of honor, and refreshments were served. The table was centered with a Noah's Ark birthday cake. In the absence of the president and vice president, Sally Lcep conducted the meeting. In vocation was given by LUa Naas. Missionary report was given by Mary Ellen Eaton. Two groups of Camp Fire Girls, the Horizon Club girls from Junior High and Goldia Kensil's group from Riverside, will be sponsored by the church group. INTERESTING PROGRAM AT TUESDAY MEETING OF XI EPSILON CHAPTER Xi Epsilon Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi, held its regular meeting Tues day evening at the home of Mrs. Don Gum in Hu-Crest. . Special guests for the evening were the' following members of Mu Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi: Mrs. Daniel Dimick, Mrs. Henry Darby, Mrs. William Semmler Mrs. Roy Stein and Mrs. Bert Griffin. Members present were: Mrs. Ted Slpiltz, Mrs. Benjamin Du Fresne. Mrs. Sidney Moon. Mrs. Harrison R. Winston and Mrs. Bill Prentiss. The group voted to contribute to the International Endowment Fund of Beta Sigma Phi, which is spon sored and supported by interna tional Beta Sigma Phi groups. The proceeds from this endowment fund support the work of Edward D. Crabb, Ph. D., and Margaret A. Kelsall, Ph. D., at the Denison Laboratory at the University of of Colorado. These two interna tionally known research scientists devote their entire attention to work in cancer research. Mrs. Ted Shultz presented a pro- sram entitled "Plant Hunting." She described and identified wild plants found in Oregon. Mrs. Shultz then exnioitea specimens ot pianis found in this area and asked the group to identify them.
