in the Terrace apartments.

First Christian Church met at the
home of Helen Shanklin Tuesday
evening. In the absence of the
president and vice president, Sally

vocation was given by LUa Naas.
Missionary report was given by
Mary Ellen Eaton. Two groups of
Camp Fire Girls, the Horizon Club
girls from Junior High and Goldia
Kensil's group from Riverside, will
be sponsored by the church group.

Xi Epsilon Chapter, Beta Sigma
Phi, held its regular meeting Tues
day evening at the home of Mrs.
Don Gum in Hu-Crest.

The group voted to contribute to
the International Endowment Fund
of Beta Sigma Phi, which is spon
sored and supported by interna
tional Beta Sigma Phi groups. The
proceeds from this endowment
fund support the work of Edward
D. Crabb, Ph. D., and Margaret
A. Kelsall, Ph. D., at the Denison
Laboratory at the University of
of Colorado. These two interna
tionally known research scientists
devote their entire attention to
work in cancer research.
Mrs. Ted Shultz presented a pro-
sram entitled "Plant Hunting."
She described and identified wild
plants found in Oregon. Mrs. Shultz
then exnioitea specimens ot pianis
found in this area and asked the
group to identify them. Mrs. Don
Gum, who recognized the largest
number of plants, was awarded a"

burg Woman's Club Tuesday aft-
