Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sell of Coquille spent last weekend visit ing Mr. and Mrs. Guy Mullins. Everett Boyd, U. S. Navy, sta tioned at San Diego, is home on 10 days leave visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Boyd. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nichols of Springfield visited the Justin Ei ferts and the Guy Mullins families last weekend. Mrs. Nichols is the former Marie Flemming . of Glide. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Harris were called to Klamath Falls last Saturday because of the serious illness of Harris' father. Three Employers Face Law Violation Charges SALEM W) Three Klamath County employers have been con victed of violating the state wages and hours act. Labor Commission er W. E. Klmsey said Thursday. He did not identify them. Kimsey said court action against a fourth is pending. A two-month survey of the area has just been completed by the State Labor De partment, he said. One ol those convicted recused to open payroll records for inspec tion, as required by law, the com missioner salt). The two others violated regulations which limit the work week to 44 hours. One had a work week of 56 hours and the other 63. Some other employers were or dered to reimburse their employes for overtime work.
