RIFLE RANGE SEWINO CLUB HOLDS PICNIC LUNCHEON THURSDAY Seven members of the Rifle Ran Sewing club, three guests and fourteen children enjoyed a picnic luncheon Thursday at Ump qua park. In the absence of the president and vice-president, Lena Pfaff con ducted the business meeting. Roll call was followed by the secre tary's report. Guests were Mildred Tuttle, Mrs. Weber and Violet Woods. Daisy Armstrong and Virginia Welch veie welcomed into the club membership. BRIDAL SHOWER IS LARGE EVENT AT BAPTIST CHURCH One of the largest social affairs of the month of June was the bridal shower given by the ladies of the First Baptist church in com pliment to Charlene Deets, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Deets, who became the bride of Merle Atkinson the evening of June 30. , A pleasant scoail hour was en joyed, after which the guest of Honor opened her many beautiful gifts.
