a radio program in Los Angelse,
Calif., and was asked a question
pertaining to Robert Louii Steven
son's wife. He missed the answer
and $375, but was awarded a
year's supply of a popular brand
of coffee.
Visit Hare Mr. and Mrs. D.
Jons and their grandson, Don, of
Spokane. Wash., were guests at
the A. F. Suskdorf home the first
of this week. From Roseburg they
went to Medl-d, where thev were
guests of t Jack Suksdorf fam
ily. Mrs. Suksdorf and Mr. Jons
are sister and brother.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Cox and
their houseguests, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Etzler, Detroit, Mich., spent
one day last week at the coast.
They went to Reedsport and Depoo
Bay and relumed via Corvaflis.
On Saturday they made a 4fcmile
trip up McKenzie pass to sistera
and Bend. They atopped at Dia
mond and Crater lakes enroute
home. Mr. and Mrs. Etzler left
Monday after spending ten days at
the Cox home. Before visiting here,
they had been in Canada. They
left for California and expect to be
in Michigan late in July.
Mr, and Mrs. James Cottrell of
Santa Ana, Calif., are visiting the
former's son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Cottrell and
son, (dy. On Sunday, both farn-

Mr. and Mrs. Verlus Pasley. Mrs.
Pasley is an aunt of L. W. Cottrell.

Scout camp at Camp Lucky Boy
on Blue river up the McKenzie

but she is leaving soon for Fait ,
banks, Alaska, to be with her hus
band. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Harmon en
tertained at a dinner Wednesday.

and Mr. and Mrs. James Cottrell.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Squires and
family made a successful fishing
trip to Winchester bay over the
weekend.
