Snyder was elected to the post at a recent convention of the or ganizalion at Portland. The asso ciation, now in its fifth year, is composed of teachers of commer cial subjects in the high schools of Uie sitile. Calls For Mail Hauling Bids The Roseburg post office is re ceiving bids for hauling mails to and from the post oflice and the Southern Pacific depot, Postmas ter Lester L. Wimberly reports. Wimberly said the present mail carrier has resigned due to ill health. The new contract will start May 1. Information and bid forms may be obtained at the post office, the postmaster said.
