O , Loan Payments Record Of Farm In 15 9 OVID A. MARTIN WASHINGTON rt) About IS yea A ago Uncle Sam started making loans to farm laborers and tenant farmers for the nurchase of farms. This aid has been extended to farmers who can not get credit from banks, private individuals or other lending agencies because they are considered poor credit risks. In IS years the Agriculture de partment has loaned nearly $400, 000.000 to 66,0"3 farm buyers. In most cases the" government put down the full cost of the farm. Few commercial conrxns would lend more than 75 percent of the purchase price.
