Death Strikes During Face Lifting Operation SEATTLE (IP) Mrs. I.yle King, Friday Harbor business woman, died in a beauty clinic here while undergoing a face lift ing operation. Coroner John P. Brill .lr. said Mrs. King died of suffocation caused by a swelling in her throat. Brill said fluids used in the face lifting operation are being tested to determine whether they may have provoked the swelling. because the House defeated her bill to allow sale of colored oleo margarine, tried to gel revenge. I., which employs 150. Officials of both comn-tnies charged "threats of violence ' were made by CIO pickets around the plants. Meantime, representatives of the union and of the American Woolen compnny, with which ne gotiations broke down over a 15 cents an hour pay hike, reported "nothing new" in the way of settlement. Brannan OKs Lakeview Sustained Yield Unit PORTLAND (.VI Secretary of Agriculture Charles Brannan has approved the contested Lakeview federal sustained yield forest unit, H. J. Andrews, regional forester, said. The unit was established last year by Lyle F. Watts, chief of the forest service. But his action was appealed by the Willow Ranch Lumber company which owns and operates a sawmill about six miles south of the Oregon state line, outside the unit.
