Richard Graef, pastor of the St. John's Lutheran church, performed the double ring ceremony at six o'clock in the evening, before the fireplace, with its mantle decorat ed with lilies and roses and tall white lighted tapers with baskets of flowers placed at each side. The bride wore a dusty rose sa tin gown with white accessories and an gardenia and rosebud cor sage. She was attended by her daughter, Miss Lily Smith, as maid of honor. She wore a pale green marquisette ankle length dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds and white sweet peas. The bridegroom was attended by his brother. Ltoyd Cornish. The beautifully decorated three tierd wedding cake was made by Howard Vansteenberg, cousin of the bridegroom. Music for the evening's dancing was furnished by a five-piece orch estra.
