California Visitor Leaves Mrs. Estelle Maynard of Napa, Calif., who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Easton and Mrs. Carl Brauninger in Roseburg, has left for Albany to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Blake, former Roseburg resi dents. . Leaves For East L. J. Crafton Southern Pacific Company em ployee in Roseburg, has left for Henderson, Ky., to spend a month visiting relatives and friends. He slopped over a day in Portland to visit his sister, Mrs. A. J. Hop good. En route home, he will stop In San Francisco to attend the national convention of the Ameri can Legion. Stop Over Short Time Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gall and grand daughter, who have been enjoy ing a two months stay in Port land, stopped over in Roseburg this week to visit friends en route back to their home at Manhatten Beach, Calif., near Los Angeles. Mr. Gall was employed a number of years ago by the Douglas County Light and Water Com pany in Roseburg. , Arrive in Chicago Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert ' Finlay and baby daughter, Joanne, have arrived in Chicago to make their home, fol lowing several months in Rose burg with Mr. Finlay's parents, Dr. and Mrs. G. C. Finlay, on South Main Street. Gilbert Fin lay, who returned to this country following service with the U. S. forces in Japan last spring, plans to take advanced courses in edu cation at Chicago. Arrives From Washington Mrs. J. A. McGaughey of Castle Rock, Wash., is the guest in Rose burg of her son-in-law and daugh ter, Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Rand, and her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. S. K. McGaughey, en route to North Bend to visit her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Bryan. Mrs. Mc Gaughey was accompanied to Roseburg by her granddaughter and grandson, Doris and John Rand, daughter and son ot Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Rand, who spent their vacation at Castle Rock.
