Did you' ever let your imagination play upon how mean you could be if you let yourself go? Most of us do not need to use our imagina tions; we really and truly know from past experience. Far be it from us as Chris tians to feel any pride in our attainments. As John' Wesley said, we know that, but for the grace of God; each of us has sinned enough to warrant our awn ruin, and perhaps bring the ruiri to our loved ones. There is no moral malady, thank God, that Jesus has not cured. He can save us from our sins, and from ourselves. Re ligion can save us to our best. All persons, however low they have gone in sin, have some aspirations and ideals. You will often find these where they are least Expected. Religion can take that which is noble within us and nurture it until our lives blossom into the beauty of Christ-like living. But we must give Him the op portunity.
