ers organized a Marketing club at
the school Monday, with Miss
Marjoric Church as local leader.
Officers were elected as follows:

dean Perdue as song and yell
leader. The requirements of the
work were discussed. The first
lesson was handed out to each of
the members, which is to be
studied by the time of the next

Douglas County Agricultural Con
servation association for another
year. B. F. Nichols was re elected
chairman, R. R. Clarke vice-chairman,
and L. S. Complon regular
member. Willard Smith and John
H. Ferguson were elected alter
nate committeemen. Very few
changes occurred in communily
committees for 1941.
Members of the county commit
tee will attend a state wide meet
ing of county committeemen, sec
retaries, and assistant secretaries
of county agricultural conserva
tion associations at Corvallis
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
arid Saturday of this week, where
details of the 1911 program will
be discussed. It is expected that
following the Corvallis meeting
full details of the 1911 program
will be available to farmers of
Douglas county.
Work for completing the 19-10
program is well along and all
compliance forms will be com-1
pleted by February 1 for checking j

tions for payment. Many farmers ;
