Analysis charts were pro vided for each cIiibh member for the purpose of testing the strength of his positive andor negative per sonality qualities. These charts are to be ragled by three different peo ple and mailed to the instructor, 'who will coordinate them nnd pro Tide the student with an analysis of his strong and his weak points so far as qualities that determine Kuccess in selling are concerned, for his information and study. Last week's class covered the subject of types of objections rais ed by customers, and methods of answering these questions effec tively and convincingly, and how to close the sale. This lesson was for the purpose of rounding out tho salesmen's general knowledge of tho psychology of salesmanship as presented during this course, by giving concrete examples of actual problems that have arisen and the proper and scientific way in which they were solved, and by contrast ing the new techniques with older and less effective methods which were often based on the emotional nppeal rather than the intellectual appeal. This course is drawing to a closo, nnd will be completed by a lecture on social psychology tho relation of one person to another and how to keep down the things that are apt to annoy you as well as your follow members of society. The ma terial to be presented is of Inesti mable value to all, and class mem bers are particularly urged to ro pory promptly at the beginning of the cluss period at 7:30 in order to get the full benefit of the lecture.
