the purpose of testing the strength
of his positive andor negative per

to be ragled by three different peo

'who will coordinate them nnd pro
Tide the student with an analysis
of his strong and his weak points
so far as qualities that determine
Kuccess in selling are concerned,
for his information and study.
Last week's class covered the
subject of types of objections rais
ed by customers, and methods of
answering these questions effec
tively and convincingly, and how
to close the sale. This lesson was
for the purpose of rounding out tho
salesmen's general knowledge of
tho psychology of salesmanship as
presented during this course, by
giving concrete examples of actual
problems that have arisen and the
proper and scientific way in which
they were solved, and by contrast
ing the new techniques with older
and less effective methods which
were often based on the emotional
nppeal rather than the intellectual
appeal.
This course is drawing to a closo,
nnd will be completed by a lecture
on social psychology tho relation
of one person to another and how
to keep down the things that are
apt to annoy you as well as your
follow members of society. The ma
terial to be presented is of Inesti
mable value to all, and class mem
bers are particularly urged to ro
pory promptly at the beginning of
the cluss period at 7:30 in order to
get the full benefit of the lecture.
