Today's Pattern HERE'S PRETTY WAY TO MAKE YOUR NEW EASTER PRINT By CAROL DAY This is not only an unusually smart design, but Pattern 8408 Is also exceptionally good for a glowing, colorful print, because It has no fussy detailing, no trim ming, no contrast just the beauty of soft, very feminine lines. The bodice is shirred on the shoulders and gathered above the waistline, to give just enough bust fullness. The high-shouldered sleeves help out that effect, and they're so gay and young-looking. The skirt, cut to a high waist line, flows sltmly over the hips to slight iullness at ' the hem: it's very slenderizing. If you take woman's size you'll find this de sign especially youthful and flat tering. It will be prettv in flat crepe or thin wool, as well as silk print. Pattern No. 8408 is designed for sizes 32. 34. 36. 38. 40, 42. 44 and 46. With long sleeves, size 34 re- quires 4 1-8 yards of 39-lnch ma terial; with short sleeves, 4 5-8 yards. Send your order to the News- Review. Pattern Department, Rose burg. Oregon.
